Unfortunately, it doesn’t provide me with the name of Johann’s parents like I was REALLY  hoping. But it does confirm the birth/death info and place of burial.

Not much. Between working full-time at my new job (thankfull that I have a job in this economy) and working evenings on client websites & slowly improving my health problems from my last job, well, I haven’t done much genealogy research. Yesterday I mailed away an application to Wisconsin state vital records to see if I can get death records for my 3rd great-grandfather Johann Judas. Because I am asking for an uncertified record, the form states that any response can take up to 6 months. Fingers crossed that it comes in just a month or two.

Today, I’ve uploaded the latest version of the database software, which fortunately fixed a problem I was having with Google maps.  I’ve also uploaded some new Judas photos including the obituary info for my grand-uncle Raymond Judas.  You can check out any new additions by visiting the “What’s New” page.

I haven’t yet been brave and upload a new version of my GEDCOM – I’m just a bit worried that importing it will cause my media/document links to fail.
